Saharsa Times Report:--- Two Saharsa boys Devansh Priya, 15, an his younger brother Ekansh Priya, 12, have done the state proud by winning Gold Medals at the 15th Uttrakhand State Shooting Championship, which concluded on August 26.
In fact, Devansh, a Class XI student at Lucent International School, Dehradoon, won a Gold and three Silver Medals in 10 metre Deep Air Rifle event at the Championship. His younger brother Ekansh, a class VII student of the same school, won a Gold and a silver medal in 10 metre Deep Sight Air Rifle shooting event. Devansh received gold medal from Uttrakhand CM Harish Rawat while Ekansh received medal from Uttrakhand governor K K Pal.
Devansh and Ekansh are sons of a senior Saharsa Journalist Buddhinath Singh "Papan" and their Grandfather Laxman Prasad Singh is a Retired Head Clerk of Saharsa Collectorate. Both Devansh and Ekansh are being trained by Amar Singh in shooting at Dehradoon. Both of them were admitted to Lucent International School in 2013.
Devansh had also participated in rifle shooting championship in 2014 in New Delhi and won two gold medals. Their father Buddhinath and mother Shweta Singh are overjoyed by the success of their sons and have thanked their coach Amar Singh.
